The tour would suit newcomers to Business Continuity and students of Business Continuity, Security, Emergency Management or Risk and Resilience related programmes
At the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) we passionately believe that students who will become the business leaders of the future should be recognised and supported.
Business Continuity is an emerging but vital discipline which involves building and improving resilience within organisations as well as devising strategies to enable businesses to continue in the event of an incident or disaster.
As the world’s leading institute we are offering new comers to the profession and students the opportunity to take a closer look at this dynamic and growing industry.
The tours will run on the 9th November 2016 at 10.30am.
The day will begin with a short introductory session and afterwards all participants will be taken around the Exhibition Floor in small groups by an experienced Business Continuity Professional. All of our guides are members of the BCI and, having worked within the Business Continuity industry for many years, will be able to answer questions and give examples from their own experiences.
Everyone who has attended the tour is also invited to the workshop “From Hire to Retire” which will involve a discussion between professionals from all areas of life, including recent graduates and students. This session will begin at 2pm.
Anyone participating in the tour will be eligible for a year’s free BCI Student Membership worth up to £40.
It is free to attend the Guided Tour. If you wish to attend, please register online as a visitor and follow the prompts to add the Guided Tour to your registration. Please book before the 28th October to avoid disappointment.
